The Mexico Project
A family of Rotary- and ESRAG-affiliated initiatives working across the U.S.–Mexico border to restore rivers and coastlines, protect pollinators, deliver clean water and ice to remote fishing villages, and build lasting partnerships between Rotary clubs on both sides of the border.
Our Projects

Tijuana River Project
Raising awareness of the transboundary pollution crisis in the Tijuana River Valley & Estuary, and building the partnerships needed to fix it.

A circular-economy and environmental restoration initiative for the rivers and watersheds of the border region.
Building Bridges Through Rotary
A Rotary-led network advancing peacebuilding, water, health, education, and environmental service across the border.
Pollinators Without Borders
Protecting monarch butterflies, native bees, and migratory corridors from Canada to South America.
Ice in a Box
Solar-powered ice and desalinated drinking water for San Evaristo, a remote fishing village in Baja California Sur.
